Is it possible to play NAP with less than 50 naira per bet?
Yes, it is possible. Since a staker can play up to 10 games in one ticket, he can play
minimum 5 naira per game, but the total of the ticket must be higher than 50 naira.
How to play Perm:
Permutation (Perm) – means a staker can give 3-10 numbers and permute the
combination to the best possible set of winning numbers. This is like Pools’ Perm.
In Perm, the minimum stake amount must not be less than 5 naira. Because the stake is
per line, not per game. However, the total amount of the ticket must be higher than 50 naira.
Permutation Prize:
The Prize Dividend for Perm is the same as Betting or NAP, depending on what Perm he
played. If he played Perm 2 from xx, prize multiplier is the same as NAP 2 (stake x
240). If he plays Perm 3 from xx, prize multiplier is same as NAP3 (stake x 2,100).

Permutation Play Example:
Play 2 from 3 – the game should be at NAP 2. (If staker plays Perm 3 from xx, agent
should press F3 for NAP 3). Staker will give 3 numbers. After pressing ‘V’, the machine will
convert the game type from NAP2 to PM 2. Meaning, the staker is betting that ANY 2 out of
the 3 numbers will come out correct, in any order. If only 1 came out correct, no winning. If
all 3 numbers came out, prize money will multiply.
The amount of the stake or bet depends on the permutation. Unlike betting or NAP, the
stake is not on the set of numbers but on the resulting lignage (permutations). In the case
of Perm 2 from 3, the number of lines would be 3 lines (lines means the number of possible
2-sure combination from the 3 numbers). So whatever the stake amount, will be multiplied
against the number of lines.
If he plays Perm 3 from 5, agent press ‘F3’ to go to NAP 3.
The staker expects that ANY 3 numbers out of the 5 numbers he played are going to come
out of the draw, in any order. The prize multiplier is the same as NAP 3 (bet x 2,100). If all
5 numbers came out correct, his winning is still base on NAP 3, not on NAP 5, but with
additional amount (bonus).
Usually, a staker will not bother with the number of lines when he plays Perm. He will just give the
numbers, the Perm and the money. If the staker says he has 500 naira and wants to play Perm 2 from 5,
the agent should check the guide for the number of lines.
Since the the staker has 500 naira, the agent
will divide 500/10 lines. The result will be 50 naira. This is now the amount of stake per line.
Remember, the TPM will not accept decimal or kobo. If staker is playing 500 naira for Perm 2 from 6 =
15 lines, agent will divide 500/15 lines = 33.33. In this case, the agent may opt to play 33 naira or 30
naira per line only.

How to compute extra winnings in Perm
1st example:
If a staker played, Perm 2 from 5 at 50 naira per line, he is betting that any 2
numbers from the 5 he gave will win. If 3 numbers came out, instead of 2, the prize
money is computed like this:
First, look at the Perm guide. Since 3 numbers came out, we first look at the number
of lines for Perm 2 from 3 = 3 lines
Second, multiply 3 lines x 50 naira (bet) = 15 naira
Third, multiply 15 naira x 240 (prize multiplier) = 3,600 naira (winning)
2nd example:
Playing Perm 2 from 5, at 50 naira per line.
If 4 numbers came out, instead of just 2, prize money is computed as follows:
- First, look at the Perm Guide. Since 4 nuumbers came out, check how many lines is Perm
2 from 4 = 6 lines.
- Second, multiply ‘6 lines x 50 naira = 3000 naira’
- Third, multiply ‘300 naira x 240 = 72,0000 naira’
The principle is the same if 5 numbers came out. The same for Perm 3 from xx. If the
winning numbers turns out to be 4 or 5 numbers, instead of 3 only, then check linage first
for ‘3 from 4’ or 3 from 5’ and multiply with bet x prize multiplier.
How to read Perm Table guide:
All new agents are given Permutation Table to make it easy for them to check the number
of lines for each perm. We will only encourage Perm 2 and Perm 3 since higher perm would
mean bigger linage, and so far in Lotto 5/90, stakers seldom or never play Perm 4, 5 or
higher, because the lines are also very high.
- Perm 2 or Perm 3 - means the staker is betting that ANY 2 numbers or 3 numbers
in any order will come out of the draw from the numbers he played against.
- From 3 to 10 - means the numbers he will play against. So if he plays ‘from 3’, he
will give 3 numbers. ‘From 4’, he will give 4 numbers. And so on… TPM can accommodate
maximum 10 numbers only.
- Equals xx lines - lines means the number of possible combination based on the
Perm (2 or 3) that will come out of the numbers he played. This is also the basis for
multiplying the amount of bet/stake.
For example,
in Perm 2 from 10 = 45 lines. This means that you can come up with 45
Combinations of 2-sures from the 10 numbers.
In Perm 3 from 10 = 120 lines. There are 120 possible combinations of 3-
sures from
10 numbers
